Save Environment for Future
Our guide and support team are trained as much as possible to minimize the impacts through our activities. We also advise travelers to minimize carbon footprints, reduce air travel, use minimum water as possible, discourage plastic packaging, bring back the non-bio-degradable waste with them, and not to use plastic bottles for drinking water. We encourage using boiled or purified water for drinking and not to disturb the wildlife while traveling. We work together with our team, local people and local lodge owners “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints”! “SAVE THE MOUNTAIN FOR FUTURE GENERATION”

Empowerment of Local Communities
Local Staffs: We do our best to support the local communities by employing local people for the local offices and field guides. Even in the mountains, their aspirations are diverse and we try to help those people get the support they need to achieve their dreams:

Support Children’s Education: We support local communities where we are traveling. We must give something back to the people. In 2002, our founder started a non-profit and a non-governmental organization named Child Environment Nepal (www.cennepal.org.np) to work for supporting the mountain children’s education. We supported hundreds of children’s school education, built more than 5 schools, and provided electricity where students had been using kerosene lamps. We also helped with students’ health and sanitation especially for the poor and the under-privileged.

We encourage hikers to volunteer in building schools and teach English language, music or sports as public schools have neither good English teachers nor music and sports facilities. Please join with us to make a difference. Your small help of penny, participation, and support will also encourage us to keep continuing with our projects. ....less

NEPAL IS OPEN!

Now you can easily enter Nepal, get on-arrival visa, no quarantine whatsoever, immediately start your activities and experience what Nepal has to offer.

Over 100 people have traveled with us since the reopening of Nepal in October 2021. They mainly trekked in major trekking regions such as Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang, etc. They had an amazing time in the Himalayas with us. Now it is your turn to explore Nepal and you are heartily welcome here!

Here are the new entry rules, which are easy to follow and hassle free to the travelers:

Visitors should have a proof of receiving their last dose of Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 full days prior to entering Nepal.
Visitors should have a negative PCR report no older than 72 hours before checking into the flight to Kathmandu.
Visitors should have a printed copy of the international travelers’ online form (www.ccmc.gov.np).
Visitors should have expedition or trekking or other permits, which will be arranged by your travel operator/agency in Nepal. (We will email you the permit before your arrival.)
Visitors should have a confirmation of hotel booking. (We will email you the hotel booking confirmation before your arrival.)
Masks are not mandatory for the fully vaccinated visitors. You can freely travel around and visit all places without masks. But, if you still want to wear masks, that is your choice and you are free to do it.
Once you have provided the necessary documents and followed the required steps, you will be issued an on-arrival Nepal entry visa after paying the fees (USD 30 for 15 days, USD 50 for 30 days and USD 125 for 90 days).

There are a few exit procedures that you need to follow. You will need a negative PCR test before your departure. We can help you arrange this test with the approved hospital. We can either call the test team at your hotel or you can visit the hospital (Both test and transportation costs are yours to bear). Your test will be available within next 24 hours. Additionally, you will need to fill up a CCMC form again and we can assist you to fill it up and print it for you.

Company Overview
Accessible Adventure was founded by Hari Kumar Shrestha in 2012, after working for many years as a freelance tour/trekking leader. Hari founded Accessible Adventure to be a 100% locally-owned inbound ground operator in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet. Since 2012, Accessible Adventure has been proudly showcasing the scenic beauty of the glorious Himalayas to the world. As a Nepalese-owned company, Accessible Adventure offers wholesale tour operators the twin benefits of affordable ground services and superior quality itineraries and travel planning services. Today, the company employs a staff of 110 and has proudly served thousands of trekking groups in Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan.

What We Do
Accessible Adventure specializes in hiking, trekking, mountaineering, rafting, wildlife safaris, mountain biking, cultural tours, and special itineraries (honeymoon, photography, festivals, voluntourism and student). Accessible Adventure offers both pre-planned itineraries and custom travel planning services. Our average group size has eight clients and two guides. Accessible Adventure can also accommodate large groups, having worked with student groups of about 250 travelers.

We have packages for ‘Voluntourism’, which stands for volunteering (teaching, rebuilding construction etc.) while traveling. Also, we have just started a special marriage package in traditional Nepalese custom for the couples on a holiday in Nepal.

The Accessible Adventure team has spent years finding quaint out-of-the-way places to stay that complement in more familiar destinations within Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet. The company prides itself on its extensive knowledge and network; every team member has been carefully selected for their specialized skills and talents along with their dedication to customer delight. While traveling with us, you will feel a sense of comfort as you become part of our family.

Our managing director Mr. Hari has worked as guide in the mountain for decade and has personally vetted 80% of our trips in the Himalayas. Our Bhutan, Tibet trip has been vetted by the guides and leaders even before we started selling those trips.

What We Stand For
Accessible Adventure stands for many things. First off, we at Accessible Adventure offer various kinds of trekking and tour packages at an affordable cost. We ensure that with us, every traveler will enjoy their trips to the fullest and feel very happy and safe as well.

Accessible Adventure implements the policy of environmental conservation on every service and tour. Our main direction is to provide first class adventure and holiday experience in the Himalayas in a sustainable and responsible manner. We operate as such that the journeys ensure benefits to the local people as much as possible and any potential negative impacts at the destinations are minimized.

Apart from this, we also have policies for our porters and trekking guides. We facilitate them with various training and other facilities for bringing out the best in them and leave no stone unturned on whatever we offer. Also, all of our guides and porters are insured.

Our mission is to fulfil the needs of clients and promote sustainable tourism through preservation of the natural environment, local cultures, traditions and heritages of Nepal by organizing tours in socially responsible, eco-friendly, and ethical manner.

Beside tourism, Ace has a special give back, where we have been helping a non-profit organization called “Sambhav Nepal”. We have helped build schools, toilets, libraries and community drinking water facilities for areas in the Gorkha district hit by earthquakes. After the major earthquake on 25th April 2015, Ace the Himalaya and Rotary International has taken an initiative to help victims by donating food, aluminum roof sheets and blankets as a part of our Community service programs.
